A Different Kind of Event for PF:
Not every event PF takes part in is about closing deals or courting investors. Some are about giving back, and PUCON 2025 was exactly that kind of event. As a collaborator on this tech community initiative, PF helped create something students in Pakistan don’t always have easy access to: real, direct exposure to the industry they hope to join.
Bringing Students Face-to-Face With Industry Professionals:
At its core, PUCON was designed to put students face-to-face with industry professionals, cutting through the distance that often exists between classroom learning and real-world tech careers. For PF, being part of that bridge meant showing up not as a distant company name, but as people willing to have honest conversations about the industry.
Real Exposure to How PF Operates:
Through PUCON, students got a genuine look at how Pakistan’s leading AI companies operate day-to-day, the kind of insight that’s hard to gain from textbooks or online research alone. PF used the opportunity to walk students through its own approach to building AI-powered products, offering a transparent view into what actually goes into the work.
What a Career in Tech Actually Looks Like:
Beyond the technical side, PUCON gave students a clearer, more realistic picture of what a tech career actually looks like, the challenges, the problem-solving, and the day-to-day realities that rarely make it into career-day presentations. For many students, that honesty is often more valuable than any polished pitch.
Why This Matters for Pakistan’s Tech Talent:
Pakistan has no shortage of ambitious, capable students eager to enter the tech industry, but exposure and access remain persistent gaps. Events like PUCON help close that gap, connecting emerging talent directly with the companies and professionals already building the industry’s future.
